Intesti bacteriophage is a mix of sterile filtrates of phage lysates specifically formulated for intestinal infectious diseases. The liquid bacteriophage is a transparent preparation with yellow to light brown coloration, distributed without prescription.

Mixture of sterile filtrates of phage lysates targeting:
- Shigella: Shigella flexneri (serotypes 1, 2, 3, 4), Shigella sonnei, Shigella newcastle
- Salmonella: S. paratyphi A, S. paratyphi B, S. typhimurium, S. enteritidis, S. choleraesuis, S. oranienburg
- Escherichia coli: Different enteropathogenic types
- Proteus: Proteus vulgaris, Proteus mirabilis
- Staphylococcus aureus
- Pseudomonas aeruginosa
- Enterococcus faecalis

Pharmacological action
Intesti bacteriophage leads to specific lysis of the bacteria listed above, providing targeted antibacterial action against intestinal pathogens without affecting beneficial gut bacteria.

Quick orientation: Treatment duration is typically 5-6 days. Intesti bacteriophage is used orally with first signs of disease, 30 minutes before meals, 4 times a day. For greater effectiveness, can also be used rectally once daily in the evening.
General usage principles

Additional administration
- Oral use tip: For adults and children 3+, drinking 2-3% baking soda solution (one glass, 150-200 ml) is recommended before taking the bacteriophage

Rectal use (Per rectum): In parallel to oral use, recommended once daily in the evening with enema after emptying stomach
- Children: 10 ml once daily
- Adults: 20 ml once daily
Prophylaxis dosage
For organized groups (seasonal infections):
- 10-20 ml once daily
- Apply with interval of 5 days during 1 month
During increased intestinal infection cases:
- 10-20 ml per dose
- Apply 2 times with interval of 5 days
