Product overview (general information)

Fersisi bacteriophage is a sterile filtrate of phage lysates specifically active against Staphylococcus and Streptococcus bacterial strains. The liquid bacteriophage is a transparent preparation with yellow to light brown coloration, distributed without prescription.

Composition & pharmacological action

Active components

  • Staphylococcus phages: S. aureus, S. epidermidis (titer ≥ 10 ml)
  • Streptococcus phages: S. pyogenes, S. sanguis, S. salivarius, S. agalactiae (titer ≥ 10 ml)

Inactive ingredients

  • Bacteriological growth medium
  • Standard sodium saline
  • Chinazolin (preservative)

Pharmacological action

Fersisi bacteriophage leads to specific lysis of bacteria belonging to Staphylococci and Streptococci groups, providing targeted antibacterial action without affecting beneficial bacteria.

Activity spectrum & therapeutic applications

To be used for curative and prophylactic purposes in pyo-inflammatory and enteric infections caused by Staphylococcus and Streptococcus bacteria.

Quick orientation: Highest effectiveness when used at disease onset and introduced directly to infection focus. Treatment duration is typically 6-10 days. Use immediately after opening and do not store opened containers.

General usage principles

  • Before taking Fersisi bacteriophage orally, it is recommended to drink a glass of basic mineral water (or 2-3% solution of baking soda)

  • Local application using phage-soaked dressings/bandages
  • Application into cavities (wound cavity, abdominal cavity, pleura, abscess cavity, nasal cavity, urinary bladder, uterus, vagina)

Application methods by condition (manufacturer-style informational)

Local use (wounds, damaged areas):

  • Apply three times daily for 3-5 days
  • Quantity determined by size of damaged area
  • Use phage-soaked bandage as disinfecting agent

Abscesses, pleuritis, arthritis, peritonitis:

  • 50-200 ml introduced into cavity every other day

Cystitis and pyelonephritis:

  • Administered by catheter and/or orally

Deep pyoderma:

  • Intradermal use: 0.1-0.5 ml
  • Total: 10 injections

Conjunctivitis:

  • 2-3 drops per eye, 4-6 times daily
  • Introduced by pipette

Neonatal omphalitis and pyoderma:

  • Phage-soaked bandage applied twice daily
  • Duration: 5-7 days

Intestinal diseases and dysbacteriosis:

  • Administered orally and/or rectally
  • Rectal administration by enema after stool

  • Use of bacteriophages does not exclude other therapeutic approaches
